Whoa

I just hit my head.
Hard.
I just konked my noggin in a spectacularly painful way.
See-spots-and-fall-to-the-ground kind of way.
Hit-the-window-like-a-stunned-bird kind of way.
And in about fifteen minutes people are arriving.
And I'm still seeing spots.
And the keyboard is beyond trippy.

What do you do when you hit your head hard?
Is there a policy?

I'm still stunned.
And damned if I can walk in a straight line.
And I should have just stayed collapsed at the bottom of the stairs.

Dork.

I'd have looked up the signs of a concussion and kept a wary eye on myself. Hope you don't get an egg on your head. But if you do, you know, pictures!

No alcohol, no standing quickly, and I would say no sleep for at least 12-16 hours, but seeing as how it has been more than 12 hours since you did it, and you're probably snoozing right now, that's advice a little too late.

If you don't get a knot, and your head stays very tender to touch, you need to go to the doc, asap. No swelling on the outside can mean swelling on the inside, and that's a baddie. *tender smooches on the noggin*
